Sab Lord
Sab has spent over 25 years in and around the Northern Territory and Western Australia leading specialised tours throughout the Kimberley, Kakadu and Arnhem Land environs. In the 1950’s his father ran a crocodile and buffalo hunting operation at Munmalary - the station is now encapsulated in World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park. His in depth knowledge of the flora, fauna and history, his unique character as well as his personal links with the traditional Aboriginal owners established during that time ensure your private touring experience will be one never forgotten. Thanks to his unique and passionate outback style Sab is in extremely high demand for private luxury touring.
Ann Maree Grant
Sab and Ann Maree are not just partners in the business but partners in life as well. Ann Maree stopped off in the Territory in 1997 and forgot to leave. Ann Marees’ passion is travel and her background is tourism and customer service. Her proudest achievement this year has been making Lords Safaris Carbon Neutral for the last financial year. (2008-2009)
Hamish Clark
Hamish has made his passion his work with 12 years guiding experience around the ‘Top End’. His relaxed demeanour and unique sense of humor conceal a commitment to excellence, most evident when in the outback on the private luxury tours. His love of books about the Top End and Australian History has assisted him earn a reputation among his peers for his encyclopaedic knowledge of flora, fauna and culture in the Top End. He is in high demand from repeat guests to guide through Kakadu, the Kimberley and Arnhem Land.
Jeff Martin
We are lucky enough to have Jeff assist us in the 'dry' season, he is a perennial favorite with our guests. Jeff brings a treasure of knowledge to our company. He has 16 years experience guiding tours through Kakadu, Arnhem Land and The Kimberley. Jeff posesses a real love for what he does. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, particularly in New Zealand and riding his motorbike pretty much anywhere.
Dan Croft
Dan is an ‘outdoors’ person. He is happiest clinging onto rocky faces, running, keeping fit and pretty much partaking of anything that takes him out of doors. Dan grew up on a cattle station in Northern New South Wales where he developed a lifelong love for the bush. He has spent the past 4 years of his life guiding tours through Kakadu. We are delighted to welcome him to our team in 2009. His larger than life personality and infectious love for the country ensures an unforgettable and entertaining day out. Dan is one of our Arnhem Land one day specialists.
Rob Woods
Rob is passionate about the environment. After completing his Master of Science (Resource Science) and Batchelor of Engineering (Natural Resources) Rob took to the great outdoors and has never looked back. His previous experience includes; Program Director at Econorfolk Foundation on Norfolk Island, Dive Master (GBR), raft instructor (Japan & US) and touring in central Australia and North Queensland and outdoor education for children (Hong Kong). We are delighted to welcome him to our team in 2009. Rob is one of our two Arnhem Land Day Touring specialists.
Annie LordThe matriarch of the family operated business Nanny Annie provides the cakes, coffee and cookies for the guides and guests. She is always there to lend a hand and have a chat or pass on tales of history and life as was lived in the ‘Top End’ back in the day. Annie keeps the guides looking spic and span and under control with her unsurpassable abstersion skills.
Catherine CollinsKaren keeps us all honest with her exemplary bookkeeping and office skills. Ann Maree would be lost without her. She is one of the cheery voices you will hear when you ring to book your one day Arnhem Land tour. A great asset to our team.
Rebecca Lord
Rebecca is in charge of the provision and cleaning of tour kits for the Arnhemland day trip for Rob and Dan also assisting Hamish and Sab set up the safari kits. She is a vital wheel in the small family cog that is Lords Safaris.
