Leigh brings 16 years of tour guiding experience including Kakadu and joined the Lords Safaris team in 2022. Leigh speaks fluent Japanese and also some French. Leigh is originally from the Yarra Valley in Victoria. After living in Japan and completing a Diploma in Tourism, he moved to Ayers Rock Resort to become a Japanese speaking Tour guide before working for a small tour company running multi-day tours across the Red Centre. In 2009 he moved to Darwin which has been his base ever since.
Leigh has a deep passion for the natural world, above and below the water, having worked as a dive instructor on the Barrier Reef. His passions are viewing wildlife, bird watching, hiking, snorkelling and exploring new and special places.
Being able to share his passion and these experiences with people has driven his guiding career for over 15 years. Leigh is excited to be the latest addition to the Lords Safaris team and guests fortunate enough to come along for the ride can rest in the knowledge that your trip will be an unforgettable life experience.
